Jimmy is a writer and amateur farmer, pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. His debut novel explores themes of masculinity and inherited trauma, blending the violence and moral rot of the Southern Gothic with the weary optimism of the folk tradition. He lives in Van Buren, Arkansas with his wife Casey and their two cats and six chickens.
